Hurling In Mercy Mounthawk

Hurling continues to grow in strength at Mounthawk under the tutelage of Mr O’Sullivan and Mr Stack. We had a number of hurlers playing with the Kerry colleges this year including Kieran Fitzgerald, Cian Hussey, Ryan Delaney, Fionnán Horgan and Kevin Hanafin. In the Corn Mhic Ruairí our senior hurlers narrowly lost out to Carrignavare in a very close and high scoring game. Cian Hussey, Daithí Griffin and David Fitzgerald were outstanding. The U16 Hurlers played Limerick in the Corn Iognáid Rís and were very unlucky to lose by a single goal. The U15 hurlers are doing very well this year and have beaten Causeway and the Green in recent challenge games. Keep the winning going lads!!
