Mercy Mounthawk has a strong sense of
community where parents, students, staff and management work together
with a common vision of education.
It is through a close working partnership
between teachers and parents that we provide the best possible education
for our youg people. We have an active Parents' Council which
meets regularly through the year to work on policy development, the
provision of night classes for parents and fundraising for the development
of school facilities.
A school, if it is to flourish, must be
rooted in the local community and Mounthawk, in the short time since
our opening, has developed strong community links.
An active Students' Council is
an asset to any school. We believe that the voice of students should
be heard in developing policies and facilities in the school. We also
expect our students to deliver on their responsibilities in building
a fruitful partnership in the school.
